In February 2025, the closing on the North Petersburgh Methodist Church property finally took place, with the intent of renovating this part of the Smith heritage into a commercial kitchen and event space for Heather & Kristin's business, Chickadee Catering.

With many unforseen details that first needed to be rectified, it seemed that this project was never going to get off the ground. Then things finally began to pop and Jamie and Larry have been leading the charge and moving things along ever since. YAY!
