In February 2025, the closing on the North Petersburgh Methodist Church property finally took place, with the intent of renovating this part of the Smith heritage into a commercial kitchen and event space for Chickadee Catering. With many unforseen details that first needed to be rectified, it seemed this project was never going to get off the ground. Things finally began to pop and Jamie and Larry have been busy at work, moving things along ever since. We are very excited! It is now March, 2026, and we are so very close to being able to prepare food for our clients in our very own kitchen. Event space will come a little later,
